My educational journey has been marked by a strong foundation in computer science and a deep passion for programming. It all began during my early years at the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) in Iran, where I first delved into the world of computers and programming at the age of 13. I vividly remember writing my first lines of code in C++, creating the famous snake game at Sadooghi School, a NODET branch. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for programming.
As I progressed to High School, I continued to nurture my programming skills. I decided to continue my journy at UK, where I pursued a science and engineering foundation program at INTO Foundation London before securing admission to the University of York for a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Computer Science. During my time at the University of York, I excelled in relevant courses such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks, earning an average of 69% (equivalent to a 3.7 US GPA) and receiving the prestigious York Award.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Southern California, where I am enhancing my knowledge and skills in deep learning, natural language processing, robotics, and more. I plan to complete my degree in December 2023, and I am eager to continue expanding my horizons in this dynamic field.
Beyond the classroom, I am committed to gaining practical industry experience, applying the knowledge I acquire to tackle real-world challenges, and developing innovative solutions. My educational background, coupled with my passion for programming and problem-solving, fuels my desire to make a meaningful impact in the world of computer science and artificial intelligence. During my Machine Learning Engineer Internship at Harir Kise, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes using cutting-edge machine learning techniques, resulting in increased productivity and cost savings.
At Sepideh Construction, as a Full Stack Developer Intern, I contributed to enhancing user engagement by integrating a chatbot feature, improving mobile responsiveness, and implementing a client feedback portal on the company's website.
My Software Engineer Internship at Taghdis Kavir Shargh involved creating a project management dashboard for real-time monitoring and streamlining software integration, leading to significant time savings.
In addition to these roles, I volunteered as a Lead Student Buddy at the University of York, where I mentored incoming computer science first-year students, contributing to their academic achievements and personal development.

- Balancing Passion and Competition: My Journey Beyond the Code
In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I am a firm believer in maintaining a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle. I have a deep passion for football—or as the Americans call it, soccer—and being in the UK, soccer will always be my preferred term! I avidly follow FC Barcelona and AC Milan games whenever I can, and I find immense joy in watching their matches, despite the time zone differences.
When I'm not cheering for my favorite teams, I have another competitive outlet as a semi-professional Overwatch player. Over time, I've reached and consistently maintained a top 500 rank in my region, a testament to my dedication and strategic thinking. In my leisure time, I also find solace in strumming the strings of my acoustic guitar or playing soothing melodies on the keyboard.
Weekends provide the perfect opportunity for relaxation and bonding with friends and family. One of my favorite pastimes is binge-watching series that pique my interest. I find it incredibly enjoyable to watch all the episodes back-to-back, immersing myself in the storylines while indulging in delicious food and drinks. These extracurricular activities not only provide a well-deserved break but also serve as a reminder that a balanced life enhances both personal and professional growth.
